Our Story

How it all started...

Centerview Baptist Church was established in 1943 when a group of believers came together to create a place of worship that could reach its community. The name Centerview was chosen because the church was built on top of a hill. From the top of that hill, all of the members could see their homes. Through God's grace, the church began to grow. The church was founded with a family-oriented atmosphere and has maintained that through the years.

Expanding the vision...

Some years later, the  church moved to its current location to accommodate the surrounding changes in our growing community. We are always looking at how to best reach our community and the world with the Gospel.

Where we are headed...

As the body of Christ, we want to be a voice for Jesus as we speak the truth in love. We desire to become a multigenerational church that makes a positive impact for our community and the Kingdom of God.
